3 PM Craving Cruncher

You know how it goes some days.... maybe you're on a deadline and sitting at your desk, rushing for school pick-up or perhaps you bypassed lunch (or had something not so good), whatever the trigger, you need something RIGHT NOW! This little number promises to take away cravings from the first bite! It's also nut free so fine for the school lunch box too, and is way low in sugar. It's super high in protein and antioxidants- a winning formula that will fuel all your cells and not just the noisy ones demanding ANYTHING RIGHT BLOODY NOW!

Ingredients:

 1 Cup Puffed Millet

1 Cup Sunflower Seeds

1 Cup Pumpkin Seeds

1 Cup Dried Blueberries*

1 Cup Freeze Dried Strawberries*

½ Cup Dried Barberries*

½ Cup Puffed Quinoa

½ Cup Buckwheaties

¼ Cup Cacao powder

3 TBSP Maple Syrup

1 Cup Coconut Oil

½-1Cup Melted Raw Chocolate*

 Method:

Warm all the liquid ingredients together

Place all the dry ingredients in a bowl, add the liquid and mix by hand. Place in a slice pan lined with baking paper and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

*note that I dry frozen, spray free blueberries in the dehydrator. All commercially availble dried blueberries have added sugar and sometimes oil- to keep them looking nice and fancy.

*Freeze dried Strawberries are availble at health food store or on http://mockredhill.com.au where you can also get freeze dried blueberries which I've used on the top of my version pictured.

* Barberries are popular in Iranian and Indian Cuisine, I buy mine from http://www.royalnutcompany.com.au

* I use either my home made raw chocolate or Loving Earth https://lovingearth.net
